Konami has announced that is jumping into the Music Peripheral Game scene again with Rock Revolution. Konami are no strangers to the genre, with their DrumMania and Guitar Freaks games filling the arcades around the world since 1999. However this is Konamis first foray into the home market. More inside Rock Revolution will sport a seven input drum controller and a Guitar for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions. The Wii version, however, will have a substitute version using the Wiimote and Nunchucks to simulate the motions. The Nintendo DS version will be similar to GH: On Tour, but include a vocal option the Wii lacks. According to Gamespot who had hands on with the game at Konamis press event to reveal the game some of the tracks in the game include:
# Chop Suey (System of a Down)
# All My Life (Foo Fighters)
# Falling Away From You (Korn)
# Last Resort (Papa Roach)
# Somebody Told Me (The Killers)
# Dance, Dance (Fall Out Boy)
# Dr. Feelgood (Motley Crue)
# Run to the Hills (Iron Maiden)
# We Wont Be Fooled Again (The Who)
They will all be cover versions, no master tracks.
