Katana ZERO now classified in Australia, out around the end of the month

Australia missed out on the brilliant and Switch console exclusive Katana ZERO earlier this month because of a classification snafu. Because of the game’s content, it was refused classification.

We noticed yesterday that the game had finally been classified and we’ve checked with Devolver Digital to make sure it’s legit – and it is!

They tell us the game will now be released ‘around the end of the month’. We’ll have a review up for the game shortly, but because it’s already out elsewhere, it’s already looking kind of good.

Yay. But is it the full proper version that the rest of the world got?

Probably not. Aus classification board hates games that feature drugs with positive effects or reinforcements, which KZ features in the main plot. Do yourself a favor, make a U.S. account and buy it that way. It’s a dope game.
