While Nintendo could have chosen a better week to release IronFall: Invasion, there’s no reason to ignore this third person, online, 60FPS shooter. Yes it’s on the Nintendo 3DS and we don’t see this kind of game every day.

IronFall: Invasion is getting the Steel Diver: Sub Wars treatment and will be available in a number of configurations, one of which is free. The free version contains the first level of the campaign, both online and multiplayer modes but is limited to just one arena and character.

If you choose to buy you can either buy the campaign by itself or the multiplayer by itself. Each mode costs AU$13.00/NZ$17.00 or if you buy both together for AU$26.00/NZ$34.00. You’ll get a weapon bonus if you buy the either part of the game, if you buy both (at the same time) you can unlike the music Jukebox.

IronFall: Invasion is also one of the first games other than Super Smash Bros. to use the C-Stick on the New Nintendo 3DS.

IronFall: Invasion will be out this week along with the rest of the weekly updates. We’ll have that full article up soon too.
