French-Canadian developer VDdev have unveiled the (presumably final) details on their third person shooter Ironfall: Invasion which will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop this February. Previously announced for the 3DS independently, the game was noted for it’s rather impressive feat of being coded entirely in Assembly and running at a silky smooth 60fps.

Ironfall: Invasion will be playable on all 3DS consoles but will make use of the C-Stick on the New Nintendo 3DS consoles if you’ve got it, allowing you to play the game like a more traditional shooter.

The game will also feature six-player online and local multiplayer modes as well as a single player campaign.

No local release details have been confirmed as of yet but we’ll be sure to let you know if anything pops up.
