Hyrule Warriors will gain Amiibo support in the near future

Nintendo of America has tweeted that Hyrule Warriors will join the list of games with Amiibo support.
The game will support the Link Amiibo figure in some capacity at some time in the future.
The Tweet is ever so vague.
