Homebrew brings DVD playback to non-modded Wii consoles
Homebrew hack “”DVDX”” is bringing DVD playback to Wii. All you need is the homebrew channel and you’re ready to roll! Use at your own risk however, as Nintendo likely did not include DVD playback for a reason. It is possible that playing DVDs will damage the system but so far there has been no evidence either way. While this mod is undeniably cool, unless the Wii is the only thing hooked up to your TV youre probably better sticking to a dedicated DVD player for the time being.
