Hollow Knight getting a physical release in 2019 on Switch and other consoles

The well-received and locally developed Hollow Knight is getting a physical release on the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One according to a report by Variety.

The publisher Skybound Games is bringing Team Cherry’s game to stores alongside Adult Swim’s Death’s Gambit (which is also coming to the Switch). Team Cherry had these nice things to say about the publisher;

“Skybound immediately impressed us with their experience and their focus on quality, And we can’t wait for them to deliver the definitive version of Hollow Knight into players’ hands.”

Hollow Knight will be released in ‘Spring’ 2019, which will mean Autumn here in Australia. Death’s Gambit has the more ambiguous date of ‘Late 2018/Early 2019’.

    I’ll definitely pick this up! I already have it digitally, but Team Cherry did a fantastic job here so more than happy to double dip to support a great local dev team. Well done guys 🙂
