You may remember that Heroes was only a temporary title and that it was subject to change, and it seems that they have done just that. The game, which is being developed by Suda 51 and his team Grasshopper Studios, has had a name change and is now going to be called No More Heroes.

In an interview with Suda 51 in the weekly Japanese magazine Famitsu, he reveals some more details about the game, its story and some other interesting bits.

More Inside.
As far as the story line goes, it has been revealed that the main character, Travis Touchdown, wins his beam katana in an online auction which he intends to use to help his career as a hit man. He is informed that he is the 11th best assassin in the world and is set up for rank matches by Sylvia Christel. An interesting thing to note is that they have hired a designer to create over 100 different shirt styles for Travis to suit his apparent geeky nature.

As far as controls go, it is pretty obvious that his weapon will be controlled via the Wiimote. The beam katana can be wielded at three different heights, attacking is done by swinging the Wiimote and on screen instructions will tell you how to break free when you are deadlocked with an opponent.

No More Heroes is currently 35% complete and scheduled for a summer launch in Japan with no word on other countries, but hopefully it wont be a big gap in the release dates for the other countries.
