Guitar Hero IV Details Confirmed (not yet for Wii though)
The latest issue of famed American gaming magazine, GameInformer has revealed some interesting information about what we can expect from the newest iteration of the award winning Guitar Hero series.
Guitar Hero IV looks to include several new features, such as the inclusion of the (inevitable) drums, bass and vocals, as well as the ability to create a customisable rocker and guitar to rock out with. The most interesting feature though, is one that is also confirmed for the Wii version. More inside.
Also included in the final package will be a “”create a song”” mode. Essentially, Guitar Hero IV will allow users to create up to 5 songs without vocals, give it a name, create cover art and upload it to “”GH Tunes””. Although this mode was confirmed for the Wii, it is unlikely that the full functionality offered in the 360/PS3 editions will be offered in the Wii edition. Never the less, it is sure to be a hit with fans. Five songs not enough? If your songs are rated highly your maximum capacity will also increase! Keep an eye on Vooks as the news comes in.
