Guitar Hero DS in the works, going to be a unique experience
While Guitar Hero DS has been talked about before, just the name has come up but a new interview has revealed that Red Octane are still nutting it saying We are working on that. Were exploring a lot of things. Were hoping to really bring the experience to the DS and to do some very, very different approaches. Were working through a lot of engineering issues with Nintendo. Red Octane say they want the game to be a unique experience just like on the consoles and will play unlike any DS game before that. So will it be done with a custom DS peripheral or just some sort of touch screen usages? The DS peripheral is very intriguing to us. Its an integral part of the Guitar Hero experience, so as much as possible, we would like to keep it within the experience as long as it makes sense and it plays well. We hope to see more on GH DS soon but probably not before Guitar Hero III.
