Last month it was revealed that Pikachu would be starring in his own new game. The game in development at Game Freak would see Pikachu become a detective, well at least helping you out solving crime.

Now Serebii.net has uncovered a new trademark filed by Nintendo, Great Detective Pikachu. Coincidence? We think not.

None the less Nintendo files trademarks every single day and most never end up getting used. It does sound like a cool name though.
