AMN is reporting that they managed to catch a glimpse of what is on the show floor at GDC as far as Nintendo is concerned.

Apparently there is DS Lite Demo Stations set up on the floor, as well as advertising for it, surely with such a big presence of the DS lite at the event Iwata will spill the details about the US DS Lite. See update below for confirmed details of this now.

AMN spoke with affiliates of Nintendo while at their booth on the show floor of GDC. These affiliates confirmed that tomorrow Mr. Iwata will announce the US price and release date of the DS lite. The Nintendo affiliates also made a point to let AMN know that the current DS will continue to sell even after the DS lite is launched. Nintendo has no intentions of replacing the original model of the system with that of the DS lite.

While unfortunatly there is no Revolution Demo stations (wait for E3), I expect Iwata to mention the Revolution in some capacity tomorrow. And in case you needed reminding here are the times for Iwata’s keynote for Australia….

UPDATE: AMN is now reporting that it has spoken to affiliates of Nintendo at the GDC booths and these affiliates have confirmed that tomorrow Mr. Iwata will announce the US Price and Release date for the DS Lite. It is also to be known that the original DS will not be replaced.
