Nintendos new DSi is sleeker, more stylish, has more hardware features and is more powerful than its predecessor, but are we about to see DSi-only game cards take advantage of that extra potential? Rumour has it that Masato Kuwahara, designer of the DSi, mentioned that such software is in the works during a GDC developers seminar. More inside There will be two new different types of cards- first, DSi-only cards that only work on your DSi; and second, cards that will work on any DS, but contain extra features that can only be used on a DSi. It is likely that these extra features will involve the DSis built-in camera, so owners of the older handhelds cant expect to miss out too much. No specific games or other software have been announced.
