Games announced for Switch this week – 24/09 – 30/09
Talk about a polar change, this week has been one of the quieter ones of the year and given how many we saw last week and before then, it is not too surprising. Of course, there are still some games here, so let’s get stuck into them. Some games were listed throughout the week, like Art of Balance was and we shall continue to do that, but here are the other games announced for the Switch.
Bass Pro Shops The Strike: Championship Edition
Bass Pro Shops The Strike: Championship Edition is designed for veteran anglers and newcomers alike, allowing players to explore 10 unique lakes on nine fast boats. Use over 100 authentic Bass Pro Shops lures to land 11 different species of fish plus legendary fish in each lake. Show off your fishing skills in special bass boat challenges, casting contests and an assortment of fun mini-games. Players can also compete for real prizes with special tournaments beginning in January 2019.
Infected Shelter
Infected Shelter is a randomly generated rogue-lite post-apocalyptic action RPG shooter / dungeon brawler. Singleplayer and co-op for up to four players. You play as a member of a surviving group in a post-apocalyptic world. On one fateful morning you awake to find the shelter is raided and your people are kidnapped for reasons unknown. Leaving your shelter you emerge into the harsh infected land and start looking for the kidnappers and the truth behind the events. Your path lead you through areas controlled by different enemy factions with brutal leaders and shelters occupied by infected creatures.
JackQuest: The Tale of the Sword
In JackQuest, players will explore the cavernous depths of Korg’s slime-ridden, labyrinthine lair. There, they will solve environmental puzzles, discover power-ups, obtain new abilities, collect weapons, and challenge subterranean foes, including massive bosses.
