Nintendo Japan announced today that they will be re-issuing white GameCube controllers this month. The controller which is now in a more Wii friendly hue is completely the same as the GameCube controllers you know and love, but with a handy 3 metre cord. The demand for GameCube controllers as alternative controls for Smash Bros Brawl and Virtual Console (and perhaps WiiWare) compatibility may be reason for this re-issue. No news if they will be re-issued outside of Japan.
