Game Freak who you might know from their works like Pokémon, Pokémon and Drill Dozer released a PC game a couple of years ago. Now they’re bringing it to console this year, including the Nintendo Switch.

They’re calling it a 2D action/adventure and Metroidvania inspired game, and the console version will have 20 additional puzzle levers, new companion character to help players and an Ironman mode that makes the game even harder.

GIGA WRECKER Alt. is a mixture of exploration and physics where players can bring down towering walls and then use the rubble as a platform for navigating each level. Reika has a power known as ARCHE (Arms Creating and Handling Effect) that allows her to construct various weapons from rubble and scrap. This ability helps her create and navigate platforms, beat traps, and destroy enemies. Of course, there’s also the ability to crush enemies with falling objects as well.

There’s no release date yet aside from some time this year.
