Can’t wait till November to get your Zelda fix? Well, wait no longer, as The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords  is coming out today on DSiWare. Zelda fans can expect the title to be released around 4:00 – 5:00 pm EST, or 2:00 – 3:00 pm WST. For those who don’t yet know what all the fuss is about, simply read on! Update: It’s out now!

Grezzo, the developers behind the recent 3D adaptation of Ocarina of Time, are behind the title. They have added in some new features, as well as a function that allows a single player option for us anti-social types.

The new levels in the game take it one step further by recreating the graphics of the original Legend of Zelda, Link’s Awakening and Link to the Past’s art style and putting the game in that world. Very nostalgic

The game is also listed on Nintendo’s site as 1-4 players this time around, so even if you can’t find any friends with another DSi or 3DS (both platforms are compatible) you should be able to enjoy it by yourself. The game will be available to download starting today, and will remain free until February 20th 2012.

Here’s a link to the very pretty minisite.

Let us know when you’re able to get your hands on the game as it rolls out.
