The brilliant Shovel Knight is getting a little bigger later this year with the announcement from Yacht Club Games of the first DLC update to Shovel Knight.
Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows will focus the adventures of Plague Knight one of the boss characters from the main game. Plague Knight is questing concoct the Serum Supernus, the Ultimate Potion. Ingredients for the potion must be farmed out of the other Knights to complete the potion.
Plague Knight has his own move set and the game features both old levels from the original game and complete new ones. There’s a whole new set of achievements to collect as well.
There’s no release date yet for this DLC expansion but it will be released for free when it is. The expansion is coming to both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game.
