The Pokémon Company, as promised has released some new information on Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon – it’s a new trailer!
Not only does the new trailer reveal a first look at the game, but it also reveals the new starter Pokémon as well as the release date for the game.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be released on November 18th in Australia, New Zealand and North America. Sorry Europe you’ll have to wait until November 23rd to get your Sun and Moon fix.
There were two trailers released last night, a more traditional western one and more heartfelt Japanese one – both of which reveal some different details. Both trailers show off a tropical setting and the region’s name is Alola – sure sounds a lot like Hawaii’s famous Aloha!
Starter Pokemon Revealed
A new generation of Pokemon needs a new batch of starters and these are they! First up Litten, a Fire Cat Pokemon. Secondly Rowlet who is a Grass Quill Pokémon that is both a Grass and Flying type. Last but not least is Poppilo who is a Sea Lion Pokemon.

Just a typo (probably autocorrect wreaking havoc) you’ve labelled Litten and Listen above.
That was in game footage of aloha because the screen in the western trailer was the same for the game, I’m pretty sure it’s in game.
Not sure about any of the starters yet, will probably want to see the final evolutions. But the new world looks fantastic and I like the look of the legendaries for the most part.
yeah my first glance of the starters were not a strong impression. the sun legendary looks awesome though
