The official North American website for Square Enixs sequel to Final Fantasy IV has launched today, offering a glimpse at the characters and setting of the upcoming WiiWare game.
Originally released as mobile phone game in Japan only, RPG title Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will finally be playable by western audiences when it arrives on the WiiWare service later this year. The new website offers a synopsis of the characters, prologue, and new features, as well as detailing the ‘tales’ that gamers can look forward to playing through.
These website features are only a taste of what the website will offer, with more promotional material to be unlocked in the lead-up to the game’s western release. The sequel is set many years after the original Final Fantasy IV adventure, and follows the story of Ceodore, the son of Cecil and Rosa who were the main characters in the original.
