Charming DS puzzler Professor Layton and the Curious Village has beat off high-profile contenders Killzone 2, Halo Wars, and Tom Clancys H.A.W.X. in this weeks sales charts for British territories. Despite releasing in November last year, the first instalment of the Professor Layton saga maintained strong sales, landing the 4th spot in both the UK and Ireland charts. More inside The franchise already has two sequels released in Japan only, with a fourth entry on the way. No announcement has been made for those titles release outside of Japan, but with sales this strong, we can only hope that Nintendo of Europe are paying attention – and we all know that whatever is in store for the Brits usually ends up here soon after.
