EB Games give cut off date for Wii U Preorder Guarantees

We’ve all heard about the stock shortages of the Wii U in North America and Europe, now the first signs of stock tightening have appeared with EB Games Australia now calling upon a November 18th date to get a Wii U pre order down for day one release.
Retail stores in Australia have been taking pre orders for the console before this with no sign of any stock worries, then again you have to call a date on final orders sometime and this simply could be it.
Naturally EB Games isn’t the only place to pre order a Wii U, but they are Australia’s biggest chain and would be getting the largest allocation of stock.
Remember you can check out all the prices of Wii U games and consoles in Australia at any time in our guide.

We shouldn’t be too surprised by this considering the complexity if the machine being built. This is why I preordered mine in full the day the prices where announced to absolutely guarantee myself a machine on day one.
I did the exact same thing and put about half of the layby on NSMBU, ZombiU and Pikmin 3 just to be safe.
Is this image from the website? Doesn’t seem to be there at least.
It was sent to me via their general mailout.
Anyone one getting a white one, … of course not. I was first to order one at JBs in Wgtn (for 3DSXL as well), they haven’t announced a cut of date yet though. I to am getting Zombi U and will get Pikmin 3 even though I haven’t played a Pikmin yet. Come 30 Nov I am gunna party like it is 2006.
Preordered mine …. *looks for receipt*
23/06/12 …. WAS a white console until the idea came about of the premium set.. so I changed it to that day after E3.
Just finished paying off everything in full this past weekend.
