EA says Sports Active will be next big thing
EA Sports and old Microsoft alumnus Peter Moore have shown off their attempt to break into the home fitness market spearheaded by Wii Fit. EA Sports very own Sports Active was given it’s first demonstration to press conference attendees, and features a calorie-specific approach to exercise that makes use of both the Wii remote and nunchuk in conjunction with the balance board. More inside The game is targeted towards women, with Moore making the comparison to conventional EA Sports titles- “”We drip with testosterone and EA Sports Active is totally different from what we’ve done.”” The promotion of the product appeared in the presentation alongside a range of made-for-Wii games such as Grand Slam Tennis, highlighting EA Sports renewed approach to developing games for Wii.
