Electronic Arts Fight Night games have been very popular and very good but it seems that EA will be going down the road less traveled with their latest boxing game. Titled FaceBreaker and developed by EA Canada, FaceBreaker will take a more comical approach to boxing and its heading to the Wii as well as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. More Inside Taking a more comical look from Team Fortress 2 and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, the cartoony game wont be short of realism however with EA saying that you will be able to literarily break each others faces with “”real-time facial deformation””.

Peter Moore from EA Sports says that “”Arcade boxing takes me back to my roots in this industry, and this game signals our shift to adding more approachable fun to our product lineup.”” No real boxers will star in the game but rather over the top fictional character such as Romeo, “”a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts,”” and Molotov, “”an oversized Russian demolitions expert with a penchant for fighting dirty.”” Game Face technology will also be in the game much like Tiger Woods but its not known if this will feature in the Wii version due to the lack of a camera accessory.
