The auteur Ninja Gaiden creator unveils his latest creation, long thought to be missing
In a post-show session with IGN, Tomonobu Itagaki has revealed Devil’s Third exclusively for the Wii U.
Combining third person military shooting and intensely over-the-top brutal ninja-style melee combat, in both single player campaign and a multi-player mode with objective based and competitive attack/defend gameplay.
The game also features a what looks like a level or fortress creation mode for multiplayer, where a player creates a fortified base and defends it from a team of other players trying to infiltrate and take it down.
Devil’s Third has been in development for many years, with hope being lost when the previous publisher, THQ, closed it’s doors. Until now, of course.
