Nintendo has given an update on The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for the Switch during its E3 Nintendo Direct and we’ve got some fresh details.

First up, the game will be out on September 20th – a lot sooner than many had thought!

The game also seems to be keeping with the whole ‘two button’ approach. The original Game Boy only had two face buttons and you would have to swap out items all the time, this keeps that – but the sword is always on one button.

The game also has a brand new dungeon creator, you can make your own dungeon with items you find during the course of your game.

Also this little guy got announced – he’ll be out the same day as the game – September 20th.
