E3 2019: Dragon Quest XI S gets special edition games, hardware and a Slime controller in Japan
Unlikely to come West.
Square Enix has announced a couple of different Dragon Quest related Switch goodies – including a new hardware bundle and a different controller. There’s also a couple of different Special Editions of the game.
First up, this hardware bundle which has blue and themed Joy-Con, but also a themed dock and Switch hardware as well. It comes with the game too.
The Switch systems will be sold via a lottery system.
There’s also the Gorgeous Edition and Super Gorgeous Edition of the game as well.
There’s also a Slime controller coming to the Switch. It’s a Pro Controller… but it looks like a Slime. All the buttons are on the… underside of the slime.
Both the console and the controller are out in September the same day as the game.
