E3 2012: Retro Studios’ Game To Remain Under Wraps a While Longer
Hoped E3 2012 would reveal what Retro Studios were up to? Well you might be waiting until next year as there isn’t going to be anything revealed about their game any time soon.
In a new interview with IGN, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime was asked if he could share with everyone what Retro is doing or what they’re working on.
“If I disclosed what Retro is doing, I would have the president of Retro literally calling me right now saying, “Reggie, what are you doing?” We love that people are interested. We love surprising people. I remember getting the questions before we announced Donkey Kong Country Returns. And I loved unveiling that. So… Rest assured, the team is hard at work. But I’m not gonna tell you what they’re working on.” Reggie told IGN.
He then was ask if were going to see if anything soon, Reggies response was a simple “Um… Likely not.”
Well then, back to the waiting game.
Likely not? Isn’t that the same as giving away details…anyway, guess DK may arrive in probably late 2013, if not 2014.
