Nintendo 3DS fans you’ll have a to wait a little bit longer for some news out of E3. It appears that tomorrow’s Nintendo Conference will purely for Wii U and Wii U software only.
During the Nintendo Direct episode today Iwata mentioned right at the end that more Wii U would be shown at the event however 3DS games will be shown at ‘other upcoming opportunities’.
Now this just might mean that the Software Showcase planned for the day later might be filled with Nintendo 3DS goodness. Let’s hope so because I’m sure everyone still wants to play their 3DS at some point, even after the Wii U gets here!
That is a bit dissapointing. I realize that the Wii U should be the main focus, but I think the 3DS still needs a push. Apart from Heroes of Ruin and Kingdom Hearts DDD, there aren’t many games that are coming soon. More info on Paper Mario, Luigis Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing, plus more games on the way would be nice. Things are sounding good with the WiiU though. MiiVerse looks like fun.
