E3 2012: Kirby celebrating his 20th with a collection of dreams

Hopefully this collection of dreams will make it to our shores.

Amongst all of the crazy 3DS and Wii U news, we’ve discovered a tiny bit of information about Kirby’s 20th anniversary game.

To mark the pink puffball’s significant milestone, it appears the Wii (yes, the Wii) will play host to Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition.

The game is currently scheduled for a  September release in the US, so expect this date to be slightly different for Australia. You may as well brace yourself for a potential  name change for  PAL territories as well.

At this point in time we have nothing more than a logo, name and date, but we’ll let you know if any more information about our favourite pink puffball (there’s Jigglypuff too afterall) shows up.

I’ve been writing about video games since 2006 and playing them since I was a kid. I started out with a copy of Mario & Yoshi on the Game Boy and before I knew it was in debt to Tom Nook. These days I spend much of my time trawling the eShop for the latest downloadable hit.
