Join Death, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, on a new system

Here’s something I thought I would never write: THQ’s Darksiders II is heading to the Wii U and it will be a launch title. The game will make use of the new controller, says the company, but it’s not yet known how.

Darksiders II parallels the events of the first game. However, instead of playing as WAR, you play as his brother Death. They’re brothers, and Death is one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. War was blamed for kick-starting the Apocalypse in the last game, and Death is out to redeem him.

There are no screenshots of the game yet, only video which was shown at Nintendo’s E3 conference. However it might not even be real Wii U footage – but we’ve included it anyway.
