The new game appears to be a mixture of 3rd-person view platforming action as well as the first-person view employed by Retro with the Prime series, as well as what appears to be a 2D platforming style akin to the original Metroid games .

The team behind the new Wii adventure- ‘Project M’ appear to have covered a range of different stages of Samus Aran’s life with this new adventure, carrying players into Samus’s childhood as well as her alien pirate-blasting years as an interstellar bounty hunter.
