DSSCAN trademark registered in Japan by Nintendo
Nintendo has registered the trademark “”DSSCAN”” in Japan.The mysterious DSSCAN is listed as ‘game equipment’. Nothing is known right now bar the name, so all we can do is speculate. It may be an accessory for the upcoming DSi, it may not. We’ll have to wait for official word from Nintendo until we can be sure of anything. Vooks speculates that its a QR Code reader for the inbuilt camera. QR Codes are huge in Japan and with the built-in browser of the DSi, could work well together. We’ll know for sure when Nintendo tell us, though… and not a minute sooner.
