The jumbo sized DSi has gone on sale in Japan and, yes, there were lines.

Another system launch, another swarm of Japanese people lining up to collect their console and, no, they werent all seniors. The DSi LL, or XL as its known outside Japan, is a new DS model with bigger screens and stylus aimed at those who have trouble using the current DS due to the small screen sizes.

As well as lines, some pictures comparing the DSi LL to the normal DSi (amongst other things). It really is crazy big. Take a look.

No release date for this in Australia, its niche target market may mean we dont get it at all.
