DSi Down Under: We’ve got one, here’s some pictures
Weve taken the expensive and risky step of importing a Dsi to Australia, and we have a few small pictures to show you before our full review on the weekend. But we wont let you go impression-less now though, we’re gonna let you in on a few things about the DSi. The first thing you will notice when you pick it up it that is rough, thats thanks to the matte finish it’s a far cry from the shiny and slippery Lite. More inside. While you wont have to rub off finger prints on this one you will be dusting it as it does attracts dust. The screens look a lot bigger even though they’re not really all that much bigger in size, and the display quality is more or less the same.
Nintendo didnt lie, it is louder and slimmer too and it weighs just a little bit less then the Lite. The camera works great in good lighting but in a darker room or in the dark it’s performance isn’t so great. Expect our full impressions of the DS camera the Music player and all the rest of the new features (including the currently empty DSi store) in a our full review this weekend.
