DS Sales in the UK top 2 million outselling Competition 2.5:1
Nintendo Europe has just announced that they are now the 2006 UK Market leader in video games hardware, surpassing all the competition in both the home console and handheld markets. It has also been revealed that the Nintendo DS is now in the hands of over two million people in the UK.
In more ego-stroking they have also revealed that in the five month since the launch of the Nintendo DS Lite the combined weekly sales of the NDS and NDS Lite in the UK is out selling its handheld rivals at a rate of 2.5:1
Europe and the UK was once called Sonyland, quite a change.
