Dragon Quest IX heading to Nintendo DS

Square Enix has just held a conference in Japan and in it has announced Dragon Quest IX for the Nintendo DS. The game will be subtitled “”Protectors of the Sky”” and Level 5 are developing it, the same team which developed DQ8. The game is also Wifi Compatible with 4 player Co-op a first for the series. Dragon Quest IX hits Japan mid 2007.

Also announced was a arcade version of Dragon Quest, also due for release in 2007.
