Disgaea 5 Complete probably won’t be in Aussie stores this week
There’s a trend already starting with third party Nintendo Switch games in Australia, for some reason they seem to get delayed a week (or two) in stores. It’s happened to Puyo Puyo Tetris, LEGO City Undercover and now it’s happening to Disgaea 5.
Late last week both EB Games and The Gamesmen updated their releases for the game from this Friday, 26th of May until next month on Friday, June 2nd. We’re told the date in JB Hi-Fi’s system has changed, but their website hasn’t been yet.
The eShop release date sits at the original date, it’s likely that the game will release on Friday just fine. But for those who have preordered a physical copy, it looks like you could be waiting another week.
We’ve asked the local distributor of the game what the go is but didn’t receive a reply in time for publishing.
Our bargain guide for the game will still go up this week.
Considering the limited release and lack of bargains for Street Fighter, I’d be very surprised if we get any good deals on Disgaea 5. I won’t pay full price for this though, especially since the limited edition has not been made available here.

I’m yet to find a cheap copy of Disgaea 5 though
