Devil’s Third online servers to shut down at end of year

Nintendo has announced that it will be closing the online multiplayer servers for Devil’s Third at the end of the year. They will be closed on December 29th, 1PM Japan time. The in-game currency ‘Golden Eggs’ will also not be available to purchase from June 27th.
Nintendo has only announced this so far from Japan, but it has dropped the price of the game on the eShop in Japan as well as here in Australia. We’d say the servers would be closed off here at the same time as well.

If a tree falls in the forest, and there’s nobody around to hear it, does it still make a sound?
Video and audio recording devices say yes, yes trees do make sound when no living thing is around to hear them fall.
