During a conference in Tokyo today, Level-5 announced that they will be developing and publishing an adventure game for Nintendo’s DS console.

The game is titled Professor Reiton and the Mysterious Village (rough English translation), and the gameplay will comprise of Professor Reiton and his young assistant Luke solving puzzles together in a “”heart-warming atmosphere””. Nothing else is known about the game.

Level-5 is most known as the developer behind the Dark Cloud series. Other titles under their belt include Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and Rogue Galaxy. A typical Sony console developer, Professor Reiton and the Mysterious Village marks Level-5’s first title which will be appearing on a Nintendo product.
