The Detective Pikachu Movie gains Goosebumps’ director Rob Letterman

The Detective Pikachu is definitely still a thing that is happening and now it has a director, that person is Rob Letterman.
Who is Rob Letterman? Well he’s worked on such things as the most recent Goosebumps adaptation, Gulliver’s Travels and Shark Tale as well.
The movie will be a mix of live action and CGI and of course feature the famous Detective Pikachu (who can speak). There’s no word yet on if the game will make it out west either yet, but with a movie on the way it would make some sense right?
