It’s been sitting on TBA for a while, but today the Nintendo Switch eShop has updated and revealed that Cave Story+ is coming to Australia and Europe next week.
Yes, we’re just as surprised as you.
The game will go on sale for a mere $39.99AU, no word yet as to what this means for the physical version if it was ever actually going to happen.

Seems fairly steep, considering the original ‘non plus’ version was freeware, and the original ‘plus’ version was $10 USD on PC. I might wait for a sale.
That’s ridiculously expensive for a digital-only release. I can only assume that it’s $40 as there may be a physical release in the works. I hope they announce it soon rather than later so I can consider importing it.
$15 too expensive for me.
