Activision are riding Guitar Hero’s success all the way to the bank, claiming that by 2010 releases of both games and DLC will triple. Songs appearing in Guitar Hero reportedly see a 200-300% increase in retail sales, giving bands a huge incentive to release their music onto the game. Don’t want to wait until 2010 to see triple the Guitar Hero? Well, in 2009 the releases will double. More inside That sure sounds like a lot of Guitar Hero – so much that they are bringing in more developers to work on the franchise. If you’re not a fan of the Guitar Hero games, Call of Duty 6 has been revealed to be hitting some time in 2009. Infinity Ward are behind the project, but no other details have emerged.
