Bargain Alert: Target smashing first party 3DS and Wii U prices – Smash Bros included

Hyrule Warriors also coming in at $59
This article is more than 11 years old.

Due to a ‘School Holiday Toy Bonanza’ Target is offering some great deals on Nintendo games in their next catalogue. Not only are both 3DS and Wii U games on sale but it includes Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and that’s still a couple of weeks away.

Posted originally to OzBargain early the catalogue shows great savings on not just Smash but a ton of other first party Nintendo titles. So if you’ve been waiting for prices to drop on Nintendo’s first party fare (which almost never happens), now might be the right time to delve in.

The prices are not yet reflected on the site and the digital version of the catalogue isn’t up yet but be sure – these prices will kick in later this week.

Nintendo 3DS – All titles $44

  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (From 4/10)
  • Fantasy Life (From 27/9)
  • Yoshi’s New Island
  • Kirby Triple Deluxe
  • Mario Kart 7
  • New Super Mario Bros 2
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Luigi’s Mansion 2
  • Animal Crossing New Leaf
  • Tomodachi Life

Wii U – All titles $59

  • Hyrule Warriors
  • Mario Kart 8
  • New Super Mario Bros U
  • Super Mario 3D World
  • Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games
  • Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

Well then, makes that eShop purchase a lot harder for Smash…

Thanks for the tip. Probably get this local, as online prices are similar. Used to save 20- 15 bucks buying online.

Now you might as well get it local. No point waiting more than a week or 3 to save 3 bucks… $$$

Yeah I picked up Hyrule Warriors at Target. I wasn’t gonna bother with Smash for 3DS but after playing the demo… and $44 is damn tempting.
