Bad North storms the beaches of the Switch later this year

The Vikings are coming, and they’re coming to Switch first.

Nintendo announced during their Nindies Showcase that Bad North will be coming first to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Bad North, developed by Swedish studio Plausible Concept, is a minimalist real-time strategy game with roguelite elements and one heck of a gorgeous art style. You’ll be tasked with defending your home from Viking invaders as they storm the beaches and wreak havoc, as Vikings generally do.

Bad North is scheduled to release in US Summer, which is Winter for us south of the equator. You can watch the trailer below, or scroll past it to see some sweet screenshots.
