Aussie Wii Preorders – Complete Listings

Wondering where to preorder your Wii? What shops are offering the best deals and bundles? Well search no more as we have them all in here! We’ve scouted the stores, taken notes and compiled them all for you. Of course, we can’t check EVERY store and online outlet so if you know of a store offering preorders be sure to tell us so we can add it to the list.

MYER

TOYS R’ US

People who have preordered under the “”Preorder and get free game”” deal will recieve a copy of Ubisoft’s Open Season or Need for Speed Carbon. Some stores offering your choice but check with your store.

Toys R US have announced a new preorder deal, the ‘Zelda Family Pack’. The bundle, which retails at $729, includes the Wii Console bundled with Wii Sports along with 2 Wii Remotes, Wii Console Bag and 4 Games including titles such as Zelda Twilight Princess, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Open Season and Need for Speed Carbon, along with $400 worth of savings coupons.

EB GAMES

EB is offering the Wii for $199 if you trade a GameCube + 19 GameCube, Xbox or PS2 Games or either trade in 1 PS2 or Xbox + 12 GameCube, PS2, Xbox games.

When you preorder you will receive a EB Games Wii VIP Card, the card entitles you to an offer sent to your email every month, you will receive $20 Dollars off Tony Hawks as the first months deal.

Also recieve a Free Wii bag.

GAME TRADERS

Gametraders will offer a “”best deal”” that is unique to each specific store.

If you pay a $20 upfront deposit, you will receive $20 credit towards your first Wii game purchase. You will also recieve free GameCube game valued at $50.

KMART

TARGET

To preorder your Wii at Target, simply take $20 to the lay-by counter at Target, and not only will this secure you a Wii on launch, but you’ll also receive $600 worth of Target vouchers.

BIG W

Big W has begun taking preorders but do not include any bonuses at the moment. It’s worth noting that on the Xbox 360 launch, Big W had sharply reduced prices on games and may do similar for the Wii.

GAMESWIZARDS

Get the Wii Console for FREE when you trade-in your old Xbox or Playstation 2 Console and 25 games.

DAVID JONES

Reader Tyris tells us that David Jones are possibly having a similar deal to Myer with a batch of misc. coupons. He has also heard rumblings of a free game deal similar to Toys R Us. Well keep you updated on this one as nothing is confirmed.

DICK SMITH

Dick Smith is taking preorders with a $5 deposting. They are presently not offering any deals.

JB HIFI

JB HiFi is taking preorders with a $100 deposit & receive a free Wii Sports Pack which includes 2 Wii Sweat Bands and 1 Wii Head Band.

GAMEHEAD.COM.AU

Have begun taking preorders for systems and consoles, no special bonuses as of yet.
