Another local team making Nintendo games, pretty cool.

Here’s some small but cool news, local Melbourne developers Straight Right have revealed themselves to be the team bringing Mass Effect 3 to the Wii U.

Straight Right are a off-shoot of Tantalus Media. Remember that job profile from LinkedIn a while ago that said one of their developers was working on a AAA Wii U game?  This is it.

The team have previously worked on Shift 2: Unleashed on iOS which was released in 2011 and garnered some good reviews.

Mass Effect 3 will make use of the touch pad for using all of Shepard’s and your squad mate’s powers as well as provide a mini-map at the same time. You’ll also be able to play the game fully on the GamePad if you like.

More local teams developer for Nintendo systems please!
