The eShop had an off-week last week, nothing really exciting. This week however is another story with a bunch of new and old games with some downloadable content. You should know what game it’s for.

Still no sign of VVVVVV, Cave Story or Sakura Samurai though, which is sad.

3DS Virtual Console

Wario Land II (Nintendo, Game Boy Color, $7.50 AU) No longer under the Mario Land subtitle Wario busts out into his first titular game. Good news too, not only do we get the game but we also get this one in colour, not the black and white original version. Remember before New Super Mario Bros 2 had coins everywhere there was Wario, the original coin stealer.

Wii Virtual Console

Double Dragon II: The Revenge (Aksys Games, NES, 500pts) The Wii Virtual Console gets another shot in the arm with another NES classic. Based on the arcade version this NES version has two player co-op that the original version (the first game) didn’t have. Great port of the classic and nice and cheap.

DSiWare

Zuma’s Revenge (PopCap Games, 800pts) — While there’s over 60 levels in this version of the popular PopCap game it is a little pricey compared to other platforms.
