Aussie Bargain Roundup: Kirby Triple Deluxe blows in

The latest Kirby adventure will be in stores on Saturday so it’s once again to reflect on retail and see which of the money grabbing bastards has it for the cheapest.

You’re in luck, JB Hi-Fi are having a 20% off all games sale this weekend only and aren’t we lucky that Kirby is out this weekend. That makes the game a mere $43.20. You will never find another game that cheap on release day, at least for a long while. We recommend getting down to your nearest JB Hi-Fi and preordering it because they’re going to be swarmed. You could also price match at EB Games if need be.

We’ll have our review of Kirby Triple Deluxe at some point in the future, but international press has been favourable to it so far.

I’m not sure how many people are actually going to buy this game.
I was borderline but you don’t often see First Party Nintendo games at that price since they pretty much stay retail price forever, so I just got it for $43.20.
I was lucky because I don’t think JB had it in stock in the shopping centre I went to, but when I asked the girl at EB if she could price match it, she basically cut me off and said “at JB for $43.20?” and laughed. I guess a few people have done it this weekend, but it was still pretty funny. I like when they price match without calling, it makes it go much smoother.

On a side note, I really wonder why EB priced it at $69.95 (which is what it was instore, $68 is for online).
Everywhere else seems to have the retail price at the usual $60, but for some reason EB went a little crazy this time.
