Aussie Bargain Roundup: Dragon Ball FighterZ

It might be a little later than the other versions, but if the online beta test showed us anything Dragon Ball FighterZ on the Switch won’t be any worse than them. Not only that the Switch version, depending on where you preorder it will come with a downloadable SNES game – Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden (and some extra characters).

Amazon is the cheapest of the bunch and we assumed they were price matching JB – but it looks like we were wrong. So for the absolute cheapest, get it from Amazon before they realise, whether you get that preorder bonus or not – we don’t know.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out on September 28th.

Still don’t understand why it’s completely absent from the eshop, all of 3ish days off release!

I wanted to check out what the damage was on the various versions, as I think one includes all dlc plus music pack of music from the anime, one is just game plus dlc etc…. but curiously doesn’t even have a listing?

    Day one dlc?

    Really… REALLY?

Here is a novel idea… Include it in the damned retail edition of the game because it’s not like they left us in the dark on this release from day one.

Yes it’s a great game and I have pre-ordered it but this is a poor move on their behalf to bleed customers out of their money.
This ultimately leaves us with an incomplete cart once again despite the game being many months old.

Nintendo switch owners deserved better than this.

In short… Day 1 paid DLC = GARBAGE!

I pre-ordered the game from EB Games and I got a downloadcode for the two charcters but I’m not sure if it included the SNES game, if it was it wasn’t a separate download and I can’t find it anywhere in game. If anyone has accessed the SNES game who could provide any help it would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone else who pre-ordered the game been able to access the SNES game as I only got one code from EB Games and I definitely got the two characters but I can’t find the SNES game anywhere in game and I didn’t get a seprate download.

It should be a coupon code. Overseas it is printed on the docket or emailed to you depending upon the way you purchased.
I haven’t received my copy from JB yet due to a late pre-order and public holiday but it was dispatched today. I will let you know when my copy arrives.

I will be looking at my invoice when it arrives so if you didn’t physically walk into the store to get your copy maybe start at the invoice inside the box it arrived in.
Failing all of the above maybe pop in or email eb games and ask them.

Well I got my copy today and I got nothing with my copy, I didn’t even get a code for the bonus characters. Needless to say I have contacted JB instantly and will await their reply.
Honestly I think Bandai Namco are a bunch of failures! This entire release has been a joke the world over. You would think these flops could have made a proper release with a label on the front to suggest its the pre-order copy and put that damn codes inside the sealed copies.
I’ve seen many people complaining about it online due to the same issues as the above.

Whats worse is that they made sure to package some dumb ep!c coupon inside but not the most important ones which you actually need for the game.

In another lovely twist if you visit the website that’s printed on the inside of the case (service-en.bandainamcoent.eu) and go to the FAQ part about the pre-order bonuses there is NO acknowledgement of a switch edition of the game. BRILLIANT!!
